We support our local Motorcycle Training School

Two Wheelers Scooter & Motorcycle Training.

Obtaining a CBT (compulsory basic training) certificate is a legal requirement which validates your licence, and will allow you to ride for 2 years on L plates without the need to take a test - although further training is recommended.

CBT at 16years old can only be taken on a 50cc moped.

17 year olds or over normally take the CBT on a 125cc bike.

The CBT is a training course and not a test and is usually completed within a day. However, if you are a novice it may take longer - there is normally no extra charge. The certificate is issued when your instructor feels you have reached a good safe standard.

At Two Wheelers helmets, gloves and waterproofs are provided free of charge. Please bring along your own if you have them, with some stout footwear. Remember boots or shoes provide more protection than trainers, steel toe caps are not recommended. Dress warm - as if you were going skiing!

To take a CBT course or test, you must bring:

glasses or contact lenses if normally worn.
A valid UK or EU photo style licence with counter part or old style paper licence with passport
